Chinks & Chaps
Our chinks and chaps are made to your specifications using premium 4/5oz oil tanned leather. This leather is supple and will provide protection when chasing cows through the brush. The fringe is hand cut and will hang naturally. The yoke, belt and side panels are made from Herman Oak tooling leather and are hand tooled. Custom designs can be added at an additional charge. We normally build the chinks with a light leather lace closure in the front but a buckle and strap can be added. The waist is adjustable for comfort and the back belt can be made with a buckle closure or laced together. Leg closure can be either hook & dee or buckle & strap. I have recently began making a lighter version of my chinks that are perfect for trail riding or western dressage. The base price for our chinks and chaps is $300.00 . Additional features such as contrasting fringe, had set spots and custom tooling is additional and will be quoted at the time of order.
